I am a 3rd year trainee Homeopath with the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London. I have set up a low cost student clinic (supervised by a qualified Homeopath) at Romney Marsh Osteopaths allowing patients to be treated at a fraction of the usual cost. What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a safe and gentle form of medicine that stimulates the body's natural healing process. Homeopathy works on a philosophy that 'like cures like,' by giving a remedy that would give the same symptoms in a healthy person would give relief to the sick. An example of this is the remedy Coffea (taken from coffee), which is sometimes given to help with insomnia.
What happens during a consultation?
Your Homeopath will be interested to hear about your current health as well as your past. Your family history, medication/vaccinations, emotional/physical trauma's and accidents, lifestyle and food cravings are some of the questions you may be asked to give your Homeopath a clearer understanding of your health.
How does being treated by a student differ from a registered Homeopath?
You will be treated in the same way as a registered Homeopath would, the only difference is your case will be regularly discussed with the student's supervisor, a registered Homeopath appointed by the college. Any information you share during a consultation will remain confidential and will only be discussed with this supervisor. Treatment will not be given at the time of the consultation but will be ready to pick up the next working day or posted to you unless otherwise discussed.
What is the cost of the consultation and treatment?
First appointment (1 hour) - £25.00
Follow up appointments (30 mins) - £20.00
